The Horror Stories Of Heather LaRose

In honor of Friday the 13th, I wanted to share with you my latest spooky (as well as flirty and fun) find, The Horror Stories Of Heather LaRose EP. Heather takes us on a three-song, ten-minute tour of one of the most terrifying places on Earth, the dating scene.

“Crush Course” will have you shimmying with fright and delight when the call is isn’t coming from inside the house but inside your head, when obsessing over the person you want. Girl, suffering is not being able to convince someone to love you.

What to do, when all those red flags you’ve been ignoring about the person you trusted, invested all your time and effort into, turns out to be the one behind the evil mask? Put “Serial Dater” on the car stereo and road trip it with your gal pals.

Or put on “Dead Or Dead To Me” and literally Disco dance on the graves of past exes. There’s no round-trip ticket from the Afterlife, hopes for a sequel or resurrecting for the zombie apocalypse. Gone is gone.

In my gay opinion, Heather’s lyrics are campy and her sound is killer, making her the ultimate final girl.
