Nadia Loren’s Kiss & Drive EP

In my gay opinion, Nadia Loren’s new Kiss & Drive EP is reminiscent of early Marina & The Diamonds‘ Euro sound. Nadia’s bubblegum pop is well-chewed; tasting of nicotine and indifference.

I love that Kiss & Drive is Nadia’s first EP but she has a very been-there-done-that vibe. She doesn’t feel desperate to impress or to sound like the pop divas of today. She’s somehow able to give off a nostalgic feel for a sound I never heard before, serving up something new with a nod to the past.

Her music videos are perfect pairings for the songs. Her personality and humor shine through. They’re enjoyable on every level, making me smile while swaying my hips.

Kiss & Drive’s eight songs is a huge offering for an EP while delivering a little of everything, from upbeat to ballads. It’s a great introduction of what Nadia has to offer and a perfect stepping stone for blowing up the music scene.
