Regina Richards went into her secret stash of demos to bring the world her newest EP, If You Go, containing five unheard tracks from the 80’s newly mixed and mastered. I’m guessing Regina’s archival vault has a beaded curtain, is painted neon, and houses totes of hair ties, bangle bracelets and more Aqua Net than your local CVS.
In my gay opinion, 80’s music was the most awesomest. Some of today’s divas try to bring in the 80’s essence but Regina’s an old school icon. Regina’s voice is synonymous with that era and these songs encapsulate it’s fun pop vibe. “Up All Night” even gives a little nod to her biggest hit “Baby Love.” These fabulous five songs are going to have you digging out your boom box, mix tapes and parachute pants from your own treasure trove.
